Strata Mini On Wall
Description: Basically a Strata Mini without the subwoofer intended for home theater use as the rear/side speakers.
"As mentioned there will be a version of this speaker just like what you see - but without the "hump" for the powered woofer cavity... This model will be easily wall-mountable... again... just picture the baffle without the rear cavity." 12/27 from MLS
Estimated Price: a good guess might be $1199 for the set (MLS)
Anticiapted Availability: We are going to put this in the Production Plan for February I do believe. Once CNY (Chinese New Year) has past - we can plow ahead...
"Oh for sure... this is NOT a "from scratch" design...
Realizing it's not as simple as ripping off the back sub chamber and hanging the front on a wall, surely they aren't having to start from scratch either with the Mini already tried and true. I'm hoping a lot of the R&D from the Mini is interchangeable here and this could be a relatively quick product to market.
On the other hand... if everything were done tomorrow - you would not see the product here for almost 90-days... We have Production Lead Times (PLT's) and then Transport (typically 40 to 45 days from China)...
